On Wedesday, May 14 and Thursday, May 15, teachers will be coming to Logan's Little Theater to offer a class on the history and culture of China to students attending the Beijing trip this summer. A brief language lesson will also be taught. The class begins at 4:00 pm-5:45 pm. Each class will cover the same content. Sign-Ups are available outside the band room door. Students need only to attend one day, not both.

Schedule for China Rehearsals is posted on the calendar. June (17, 19, 24, 26), July (1, 3, 15, 17) from 9am to 12pm for Brass, Woddwinds and Percussions. We need as many musicians to practise as much as possible. These rehearsals are not mandatory. Musicians who have planned family vacation are excused. Rehearsals scheduled below are MANDATORY: July 21, 22, 23 and 24 from 9am to 1pm, everyone, BANDS and GUARDS, full rehearsal July 25: - 1pmp-5pm: mandatory rehearsal for all
- 5pm: potluck
- 7pm: Bon Voyage performance at the Pavilion

Your VISA applications along with original passport, and 2 passport photos are due by 4/18/08. If you would like to drop off the Visa Application and passport directly, we will be set up at The Spot (next to the cafetaria) on Friday 4/18/08 from 5:30 to 7pm.
