We are traveling to WBA 5A Class Championship at Buchanan HS in Clovis, CA on Saturday, November 22, 2025. The following day, Sunday the 23rd, we will return to Buchanan HS for the Grand Finals.

The itinerary is shown below, however details sometimes change throughout the trip. We will meet at JLHS on Saturday morning for a 8:00am rehearsal, break at 11am for lunch, and the students should return to meet at JLHS by 12:00pm for departure on the bus. Please come out to support the band by either volunteering as a band booster or watching the band perform their final competition of the year!

James Logan performance is 8:00pm on Saturday (Class Championships), and 5:15pm on Sunday (Grand Championships).

Admission (online and on-site): Click here to save $5 with EARLY BIRD pricing, otherwise it is $30 general at the gate; Military, Senior, and Children age 6-10 discount when purchased at the gate - NO CASH, Card only. Children under 5 FREE. WBA online tickets here. Weekend tickets will come with a wristband which are good for both days at all venues, or you can buy single day. Keep your wristband for access on both days. Box Office opens at 1:15pm
Concessions: Food & snacks available at concession booth and local food truck vendors. Cash/Credit accepted. No grilling or open fire allowed at anytime in lots or anywhere on campus.
Parking is CASH ONLY Parking is $10 per vehicle. CASH ONLY Located off N. Minnewawa Ave, and W. Nees Ave.

Other stadium rules:

No outside food allowed inside stadium.
Use of cameras of any kind are NOT ALLOWED on the field for this event.
Still cameras (digital or film, professional or otherwise) are allowed into the stadium and may be used from stadium seating, but not on the field.
Tripods or other similar equipment that may obstruct the view or path of travel of others in seating areas are not allowed.

Logan will be performing at 7:50 pm.

There is no parking for parents at the Logan camp. With so many kids, buses, trucks, equipment, props, etc., we can't have parents parking at our camp with the exception of certain lead vehicles. Please park in the areas allowed for general parking.

Admission: No Cash, Credit/Debit card only. $12 general, $10 student w/ID and seniors, children 6 and under FREE.
Open time: General Admission gates open at 1:20 pm
General parking: Spectator parking is located as curbside parking throughout the residential neighborhood. Please respect our neighbors and do not block driveways!
Programs: Digital QR Code
Concessions: Card only. There will be an assortment of great food, drinks, and snacks for participants and spectators located at our Concessions Booth right inside the entrance to Gaels Stadium. Additionally, Iron Horse Kettle Korn and BobaX food trucks will be selling food and drinks at the event. No grills or open fires allowed on campus, stadium or parking lots.

]]><![CDATA[Sierra CUp Classic - Oct 18, 2025 - Fresno State]]>Sun, 12 Oct 2025 05:58:23 GMThttps://www.loganbandandcolorguard.org/news/sierra-cup-classic-oct-18-2025-fresno-stateThe Sierra Cup Classic is an independent high school marching band field show competition, hosted at Valley Children's Stadium by the Bulldog Marching Band. SCC was founded by the current Fresno State Director of Bands, Dr. Gary P. Gilroy, in 1997, and remains one of the premier field show competitions on the West Coast.

James Logan will start at 8:15pm

Tickets - $20 general admission, $15 seniors/children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased at the box office on the south side of Valley Children’s Stadium.
Parking - Red, white, and blue lots are not available for general parking. Free parking can be found around Valley Children’s Stadium or on campus.
Concessions - Concessions will open at 12:30 pm. Located behind the press box.

Logan will be performing at 8:05 pm on Saturday, October 11, 2025.

The menu for Saturday's dinner is TBD - will update when finalized.

Admission: Admission is $15 each. Free for children 5 and under. Cash, Venmo, and Paypal accepted at the gate.
Open time: General Admission gates open at 3pm. Event starts at 4:10 pm.
General parking: Spectator Parking is $5 and located next to the stadium, in the lot located from Princevalle Street, as well as street parking in the neighborhoods surrounding the campus.
Programs: Free Programs will be available via QR code at the event. There are no printed programs.

Congrats to our entire Band and Guard for a spectacular performance in Fresno this past weekend, winning the 5A Class and the WBA 4A/5A Grand Championship! Winning the top prize is never easy, and we all saw the work the students put in starting in the brutal summer heat until now. Our Seniors, especially get the gift of going out on top!

A special thank you to the Directors for putting together such a fine show and extracting the best from our students. To all the parents who volunteered during this season to make this show a success - the ones who fed the kids, dressed them in uniforms, chaperoned, provided first-aid, logistics, merchandise, pit crew, EVERYONE - we see you and this is not possible unless we have volunteers like YOU!
