The Band and Guard
The James Logan High School Band and Color Guard program is comprised of the Logan Marching Band and Color Guard, Winter Guard, Winter Percussion and Concert Bands (Concert, Symphonic, Wind Symphony, Jazz Orchestra). These groups are nationally recognized and awarded, with accomplishments including:
MARCHING BAND AND COLOR GUARD
Thirteen-time WBA Grand Champions, with performances at the Beijing Olympic Games (2008), Tournament of Roses Parade (2003), and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (1999)
WINTER GUARD
Eighteen-time WGI medalists, with eleven WGI Scholastic World Gold Medals
WINTER PERCUSSION
Three-time WGI medalists, with the one WGI Scholastic Concert World Gold Medal
WIND SYMPHONY
Appearances at Carnegie Hall in New York City (2006) and Dvorak Hall in Prague (2016)
JAZZ BAND
Performed at University of Nevada Reno Jazz Festival (2006)
