11/20 update: Meal plan for Saturday and Sunday

We are traveling to WBA Championships in Fresno, CA this coming weekend. Students will be leaving early Saturday morning and returning late Sunday evening. ​Please come out to support the band by either volunteering as a band booster or watching the band perform their final competition of the year!

James Logan will perform at 7:20pm Saturday.
James Logan will perform at 6:00pm Sunday.

Meals:

• Saturday at Buchanan High School
  • Late lunch at 4:15PM, Waldorf Chicken Salad Sandwiches with watermelon.
  • Dinner at 7:35PM, Chicken Poke Bowl
• Sunday at Fresno State University
  • Lunch at 1:15PM, Chicken Taco
• Sunday at Buchanan High School
  • Dinner on the bus at around 8:30PM, Chicken Fried Rice
• Vegetarian options will be available

• Admission (online and on-site): $30 general, $20 Military & Children 5-12, children under 5 FREE. Eventbrite online tickets . Tickets are good for both days at all venues. Keep your wristband for access on both days. Box Office opens at 1:15pm
• General parking: Parking is both Free and Paid. $5 Parking is available closes to the stadium, Cash Only. Please be respectful of any barriers that have been put in place as “No Parking” zones and follow the maps and volunteer instructions.
• Programs: $10 Cash only
• Airgrams: There won't be airgrams at this event.
• Concessions: Food & snacks available at concession booth and local vendors. Cash/Credit accepted.

Other stadium rules:

• No outside food allowed inside stadium.
• Use of cameras of any kind are NOT ALLOWED on the field for this event.
• Still cameras (digital or film, professional or otherwise) are allowed into the stadium and may be used from stadium seating, but not on the field.
• Tripods or other similar equipment that may obstruct the view or path of travel of others in seating areas are not allowed.

Itinerary for Saturday and Sunday

Saturday schedule

Invite your family and friends to come out and enjoy tasty chicken wings, dipped churros, bubble teas and ice cream tonight at Pop Churros in Newark.  Fundraiser is 12noon-9pm.  No flyer needed; just mention James Logan Band and Color Guard.  The band and color guard will receive 20% of the sales.

The James Logan Band and Color Guard will have their last Union City performance of ​their show, Artifacts of the Now, on Friday, November 22nd at 8pm on the Football Field before traveling to Clovis for the Western Band Association Championships over the weekend.  Before leaving town, the band would like to invite all friends and family to their final home performance of the 2019 season.  

Don't miss your last chance to see the Band and Color Guard in their last performance of Artifacts of the Now at home.

We will be hosting the 39th Annual James Logan Invitational Band Tournament at James Logan High School this Saturday, November 16th.  Welcome to the more than 30+ bands coming to play at Logan!

The show starts at 11:40am. Logan will be performing at 9pm.

There will be no prepared meals for the students.  They will eat on their own during the day.

• Admission: $15 general, $12 Seniors/Children 6-12, children under 5 FREE
• General parking: Spectator parking is in the areas surrounding the school. Please be advised to follow all posted signs. Several of the streets immediately next to the school require a special permit and could result in a ticket or towing.
• Programs: $5
• Concessions: Food & snacks available at concession stands.  Cash only. No grills or open fires allowed on campus, stadium or parking lots.
