On March 3, 2016, the James Logan Jazz Band will be joining the Day and Night Band from Chabot College to perform a concert with trumpet legend, Chuck Findley. Chuck Findley was the lead trumpet player in the "Tonight Show" band led by Doc Severinson. Later he played with Branford Marsalis on the "Tonight Show" with Jay Leno. He continues to play with various groups in the Los Angeles area. He will be performing throughout the night with each of the bands.
Chabot Wind Festival – Wind Symphony & Symphonic Band
Date: February 26, 2016 Location: Chabot College, Hayward CA The James Logan High School Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band will be performing at the Sonoma Invitational Wind Band Festival on Friday, March 13, 2015. The festival is being held at the Sonoma State University campus in Rohnert Park, CA.This event features California high school bands performing in a non-competitive environment.
