Marching Uniform Guidelines and Care

By now everyone has their marching uniforms and accessories.  The Uniform Committee has been busy making sure that each student's uniform and shoes are clean and fitting properly.  These uniforms have a lot of history and legacy associated with them.  We need you to carry on the tradition and take good care of your assigned uniforms and accessories; make sure that they are clean and neat for every show and keep them safe when not in use. See below for the Uniform Guidelines and Care Instructions document.  It has information on how to wash and maintain your uniform as well as general information on how to dress properly for a competition show. ​

Before each show, we want to make sure the students have everything prepared before a show/competition.  Below is a check list of things to get prepared in advance:

• Uniform washed and clean? (See Uniform Care Guidelines below)
• Are the shoes cleaned/polished?
• Does your child have a black t-shirt? (to be worn under jacket)
• Is the shako/beret clean? 
• Does your child have black socks?
• Does your child have gloves?

​Please use the pocket on the garment bag to store their shoes, socks and gloves.  The Uniform Crew will be available after practices and at all the shows for uniform needs.  Gloves can also be purchased on show day.  Please contact one of the Uniform Coordinators regarding jacket, shako, shoe or bib problems.
